Turkey's Changemakers
Sabanci Foundation is supporting a new TV program “Changemakers”, which aims to raise the visibility of unique individuals that make a significant difference in other people’s lives. The program will be televised weekly (for 32 weeks) on CNN Turk at 18:30 on Sundays starting October 4th.

Sabanci Foundation Seminars
The Sabanci Foundation Seminars bring civil society, foundation, academic, private and public sector representatives together with international experts to learn about new trends and hot topics in the civil society sector. First launched in 2007, the Sabanci Foundation has made the seminar an annual event in which participants can come together, explore subjects with international perspectives and established new networks in the Turkish third sector.

Social Development Grant Program
This is an open call/competitive grant program through which NGOs (Non Governmental Organizations) apply for project support based on Sabanci Foundation’s pre-determined guidelines and process.

The “Joint Program to Promote and Protect Human Rights of Women and Girls” is partnership program with all United Nations agencies, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Sabanci Foundation and Sabanci University. The program is designed to address persistent gender inequalities by improving the national policy environment, building local government and NGO capacity, designing service models for women and girls and raising awareness about women and girls’ rights. The program has three main components: Local Equality Action Plans, Grant Program and Purple Certificate Program for Gender Equity in the Classroom. |

Multidimensional Women's Empowerment Project
Sabanci Foundation is supporting the “Multidimensional Women's Empowerment Project” developed by ACEV (Mother Child Education Foundation). Launched in 2009, the project intends to raise the awareness of women about their rights as well as their skills in literacy; to promote social integration, and to raise the awareness towards rights of persons with disabilities. . By the end of the project in 2011, the project aims to reach a total number of 11.000 women, young girls and women with orthopedic disabilities.
